Counseling and Support Programs
We offer extensive counseling and support programs to families whose loved one is facing serious illness. Gilchrist can help guide families through the uncertainties that serious illness brings and the emotional distress of caring for a loved one. We provide counseling and volunteer support before and after the death of a loved one, and offer support groups, workshops, seminars and celebration of life services. Care is provided both to families of those served by Gilchrist and to the community at large. We also offer community education about end-of-life and bereavement issues.
